Joining the Crowd

Of the unemployed. That's not entirely, true. Freelance work is around, I hope. But the good gig, it is done. The job paid well, but time off was impossible. I'm hoping this situation is a response to my prayers for better things. But a better job in a crappy economy is quite an expectation. We'll see how it works out.

Brad,

Sorry to hear it. For all the different kinds of things you did for them they must be either fools or desperately poor to let you go.

Are they still doing the Radio Reading Service?

It has been my experience in periods of unemployment that small jobs can lead to bigger ones. Once you pick up some work here and there it seems to snowball.

You have done the first thing you need to, which is to advertise your availability. Your blog and Facebook page can serve, as mine have, as places to display some of your work so that friends get a clearer idea of your interests and skills and know what kinds of opportunities you seek.
